﴿ فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةًۭ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴾

“And so they gave him the lie: and thereupon We destroyed them. In this [story], behold, there is a message [unto men], even though most of them will not believe [in it].”

فكذبوه فأهلكناهم أي بريح صرصر عاتية على ما يأتي في ( الحاقة ) . إن في ذلك لآية وما كان أكثرهم مؤمنين قال بعضهم : أسلم معه ثلاثمائة ألف ومئون وهلك باقيهم .
