﴿ فَلَوْلَآ أَنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسَبِّحِينَ ﴾

“And had he not been of those who [even in the deep darkness of their distress are able to] extol God’s limitless glory,”

{ فَلَوْلَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُسَبِّحِينَ } أي: في وقته السابق بكثرة عبادته لربه، وتسبيحه، وتحميده، وفي بطن الحوت حيث قال: { لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ }
