﴿ فَأَرَادَ أَن يَسْتَفِزَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ جَمِيعًۭا ﴾

“And then Pharaoh resolved to wipe them off [the face of] the earth - whereupon We caused him and all who were with him to drown [in the sea].”

( فأراد أن يستفزهم ) أي : أراد فرعون أن يستفز موسى وبني إسرائيل أي : يخرجهم ( من الأرض ) يعني أرض مصر ( فأغرقناه ومن معه جميعا ) ونجينا موسى وقومه .
