﴿ وَبَٰرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰٓ إِسْحَٰقَ ۚ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌۭ وَظَالِمٌۭ لِّنَفْسِهِۦ مُبِينٌۭ ﴾

“and We blessed him and Isaac: but among the offspring of these two there were [des­tined] to be both doers of good and such as would glaringly sin against themselves.”

( وباركنا عليه ) يعني : على إبراهيم في أولاده ، ( وعلى إسحاق ) بكون أكثر الأنبياء من نسله ، ( ومن ذريتهما محسن ) أي : مؤمن ، ) ( وظالم لنفسه ) أي : كافر ، ) ( مبين ) ظاهر .
