﴿ وَلَقَدْ أَنذَرَهُم بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْا۟ بِٱلنُّذُرِ ﴾

“For he had truly warned them of Our punishing might; but they stubbornly cast doubt on these warn­ings,”

( ولقد أنذرهم ) لوط ( بطشتنا ) أخذنا إياهم بالعقوبة ( فتماروا بالنذر ) شكوا بالإنذار وكذبوا ولم يصدقوا .
