﴿ وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِٱلْأُنثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدًّۭا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌۭ ﴾

“for, whenever any of them is given the glad tiding of [the birth of] a girl, his face darkens, and he is filled with suppressed anger,”

فإنه "إذا بشر أحدهم بالأنثى ظل وجهه مسودا" أى كئيبا من الهم "وهو كظيم" ساكت من شدة ما هو فيه من الحزن.
