﴿ خَٰشِعَةً أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌۭ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمُ ٱلَّذِى كَانُوا۟ يُوعَدُونَ ﴾

“with downcast eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them: that Day which they were promised again and…”

أي ذليلة خاضعة, لا يرفعونها لما يتوقعونه من عذاب الله.
