﴿ قَالُوا۟ لَئِنْ أَكَلَهُ ٱلذِّئْبُ وَنَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌ إِنَّآ إِذًۭا لَّخَٰسِرُونَ ﴾

“Said they: "Surely, if the wolf were to devour him notwithstanding that we are so many-then, behold, we ought ourselves to perish!"”

قال إخوة يوسف لوالدهم: لئن أكله الذئب، ونحن جماعة قوية إنا إذًا لخاسرون، لا خير فينا، ولا نفع يُرْجَى منا.
