﴿ وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِٱلْأُنثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدًّۭا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌۭ ﴾

“for, whenever any of them is given the glad tiding of [the birth of] a girl, his face darkens, and he is filled with suppressed anger,”

وإذا جاء مَن يخبر أحدهم بولادة أنثى اسودَّ وجهه؛ كراهية لما سمع، وامتلأ غمًّا وحزنًا.
