﴿ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى مَنْ أَسْرَفَ وَلَمْ يُؤْمِنۢ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِۦ ۚ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ أَشَدُّ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ ﴾

“For, thus shall We recompense him who wastes his own self and does not believe in his Sustainer's messages: and, indeed, the suffering [of such sinners] in the life to come shall be most severe and most enduring!”

وهكذا نعاقب مَن أسرف على نفسه فعصى ربه، ولم يؤمن بآياته بعقوبات في الدنيا، ولَعذاب الآخرة المعدُّ لهم أشد ألمًا وأدوم وأثبت؛ لأنه لا ينقطع ولا ينقضي.
