﴿ ۞ وَقَالَ نِسْوَةٌۭ فِى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ ٱمْرَأَتُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ تُرَٰوِدُ فَتَىٰهَا عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ ۖ قَدْ شَغَفَهَا حُبًّا ۖ إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰهَا فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ ﴾

“NOW the women of the city spoke [thus to one another]: "The wife of this nobleman is trying to induce her slave-boy to yield himself unto her! Her love for him has pierced her heart; verily, we see that she is undoubtedly suffering from an aberration!”

আর নগরের কিছু সংখ্যক নারী বলল, ‘আযীযের স্ত্রী তাঁর যুবক দাস হতে অসৎকাজ কামনা করছে, প্রেম তাকে উন্মন্ত করছে, আমরা তো তাকে স্পষ্ট ভ্রষ্টতার মধ্যেই নিপতিত দেখছি।’
