﴿ وَمَا نُرْسِلُ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ ۚ وَيُجَٰدِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ لِيُدْحِضُوا۟ بِهِ ٱلْحَقَّ ۖ وَٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِى وَمَآ أُنذِرُوا۟ هُزُوًۭا ﴾

“But We send [Our] message-bearers only as heralds of glad tidings and as warners - whereas those who are bent on denying the truth contend [against them] with fallacious arguments, so as to render void the truth thereby, and to make My messages and warnings a target of their mockery.”

আর আমরা শুধু সুসংবাদদাতা ও সতর্ককারীরূপেই রাসুলদেরকে পাঠিয়ে থাকি, কিন্তু কাফেররা বাতিল দ্বারা তর্ক করে, যাতে তার মাধ্যমে সত্যকে ব্যথ করে দিতে পারে। আর তারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলী ও যা দ্বারা তাদেরকে সতর্ক করা হয়েছে সেসবকে বিদ্রুপের বিষয়রূপে গ্রহণ করে থাকে।
