﴿ وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلْعَذَابِ ۚ وَلَوْلَآ أَجَلٌۭ مُّسَمًّۭى لَّجَآءَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُم بَغْتَةًۭ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ ﴾

“Now they challenge thee to hasten the coming upon them of [God’s] chastisement: and indeed, had not a term been set [for it by God], that suffering would already have come upon them! But indeed, it will most certainly come upon them of a sudden, and they will be taken unawares.”

আর তারা আপনাকে শাস্তি ত্বরান্বিত করতে বলে। আর যদি নির্ধারিত কাল না থাকত তবে শাস্তি অবশ্যই তাদের উপর আসত। আর নিশ্চয় তাদের উপর শাস্তি আসবে আকস্মিকভাবে, অথচ তারা উপলদ্ধিও করবে না।
