﴿ وَٱعْتَصِمُوا۟ بِحَبْلِ ٱللَّهِ جَمِيعًۭا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا۟ ۚ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَآءًۭ فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِۦٓ إِخْوَٰنًۭا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ ﴾

“And hold fast, all together, unto the bond with God, and do not draw apart from one another. And remember the blessings which God has bestowed upon you: how, when you were enemies, He brought your hearts together, so that through His blessing you became brethren; and [how, when] you were on the brink of a fiery abyss. He saved you from it. In this way God makes clear His messages unto you, so that you might find guidance,”

আর তোমরা সকলে আল্লাহ্‌র রশি দৃঢ়ভাবে ধারণ কর এবং পরস্পর বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ো না। আর তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহ্‌র অনুগ্রহ স্মরণ কর, তোমরা ছিলে পরস্পর শত্রু অতঃপর তিনি তোমাদের হৃদয়ে প্রীতির সঞ্চার করেন, ফলে তাঁর অনুগ্রহে তোমরা পরস্পর ভাই হয়ে গেলে। তোমরা তো অগ্নিগর্তের দ্বারপ্রান্তে ছিলে, তিনি তোমাদেরকে তা থেকে রক্ষা করেছেন। এভাবে আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য তাঁর নিদর্শনসমূহ স্পষ্টভাবে বিবৃত করেন যাতে তোমরা হেদায়াত পেতে পার।
