﴿ أَوَلَمْ يَهْدِ لَهُمْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ يَمْشُونَ فِى مَسَٰكِنِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ ۖ أَفَلَا يَسْمَعُونَ ﴾

“[But] can, then, they [who deny the truth] learn no lesson by recalling how many a generation We have destroyed before their time? [people] in whose dwelling-places they [themselves now] walk about? In this, behold, there are messages indeed: will they not, then, listen?”

এটাও কি তাদেরকে হেদায়াত করলো না যে, আমরা তাদের পূর্বে ধ্বংস করেছি বহু প্রজন্মকে ---যাদের বাসভূমিতে তারা বিচরণ করে থাকে? নিশ্চয় এতে প্রচুর নিদর্শন রয়েছে; তবুও কি তারা শুনবে না?
