﴿ وَقَالُوٓا۟ ءَأَٰلِهَتُنَا خَيْرٌ أَمْ هُوَ ۚ مَا ضَرَبُوهُ لَكَ إِلَّا جَدَلًۢا ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ خَصِمُونَ ﴾

“and say, “Which is better - our deities or he?” [But] it is only in the spirit of dispute that they put this comparison before thee: yea, they are conten­tious folk!”

আর তারা বলে, ‘আমাদের উপাস্যগুলো শ্ৰেষ্ঠ না ‘ঈসা?’ এরা শুধু বাক-বিতণ্ডার উদ্দেশ্যেই তাকে আপনার সামনে পেশ করে। বরং এরা এক ঝগড়াটে সম্প্রদায়।
