﴿ ءَأَشْفَقْتُمْ أَن تُقَدِّمُوا۟ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ نَجْوَىٰكُمْ صَدَقَٰتٍۢ ۚ فَإِذْ لَمْ تَفْعَلُوا۟ وَتَابَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ ﴾

“Do you, perchance, fear lest [you may be sinning if] you cannot offer up anything in charity on the occasion of your consultation [with the Apostle]? But if you fail to do it [for lack of opportunity], and God turns unto you in His mercy, remain but con­stant in prayer and render [no more than] the purify­ing dues, and [thus] pay heed unto God and His Apostle: for God is fully aware of all that you do.”

তোমরা কি চুপি চুপি কথা বলার আগে সাদাকাহ্‌ প্রদানে ভয় পেয়ে গেলে? যখন তোমারা তা করতে পারলে না, আর আল্লাহ্‌ তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করে দিলেন, তখন তোমারা সালাত কায়েম কর, যাকাত প্রদান কর এবং আল্লাহ্‌ ও তাঁর রাসূলের অনুগত্য কর। আর তোমারা যা আমল কর আল্লাহ্‌ সে সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবহিত।
