﴿ وَوُضِعَ ٱلْكِتَٰبُ فَتَرَى ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ مُشْفِقِينَ مِمَّا فِيهِ وَيَقُولُونَ يَٰوَيْلَتَنَا مَالِ هَٰذَا ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَا يُغَادِرُ صَغِيرَةًۭ وَلَا كَبِيرَةً إِلَّآ أَحْصَىٰهَا ۚ وَوَجَدُوا۟ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ حَاضِرًۭا ۗ وَلَا يَظْلِمُ رَبُّكَ أَحَدًۭا ﴾

“And the record [of everyone's deeds] will be laid open; and thou wilt behold the guilty filled with dread at what [they see] therein; and they will exclaim: "Oh, woe unto us! What a record is this! It leaves out nothing, be it small or great, but takes everything into account!" For they will find all that they ever wrought [now] facing them, and [will know that] thy Sustainer does not wrong anyone.”

সেদিন (প্রত্যেকের হাতে) রাখা হবে আমলনামা এবং তাতে যা লিপিবদ্ধ আছে তার কারণে তুমি অপরাধীদেরকে দেখবে ভীত-সন্ত্রস্ত; তারা বলবে, ‘হায় দুর্ভোগ আমাদের! এ কেমন গ্রন্থ! এ তো ছোট-বড় কিছুই বাদ দেয়নি; বরং এ সমস্ত হিসাব রেখেছে!’ তারা তাদের কৃতকর্ম সম্মুখে উপস্থিত পাবে; আর তোমার প্রতিপালক কারো প্রতি যুলুম করেন না ।
