﴿ إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَخَشِىَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍۢ وَأَجْرٍۢ كَرِيمٍ ﴾

“Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God’s] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward!”

তুমি কেবল তাদেরকে সতর্ক করতে পার[১] যারা উপদেশ মেনে চলে এবং না দেখে পরম দয়াময়কে ভয় করে। অতএব তাদেরকে তুমি ক্ষমা ও সম্মানজনক পুরস্কারের সুসংবাদ দাও। [১] অর্থাৎ, ভীতি প্রদর্শন ও সতর্কীকরণ শুধু তাদের উপকারে আসে।
