﴿ وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ ﴾

“And [yet,] when they are told, “Beware of [God’s insight into] all that lies open before you and all that is hidden from you, so that you might be graced with His mercy,” [most men choose to remain deaf;]”

যখন ওদেরকে বলা হয়, ‘তোমরা অগ্রে যা (পাপ বা শাস্তি) আছে ও পশ্চাতে যা (পাপ বা শাস্তি) আছে, তাকে ভয় কর; যাতে তোমরা করুণার পাত্র হতে পার।’ (তখন ওরা তা অগ্রাহ্য করে।)
