﴿ لَّيْسَ بِأَمَانِيِّكُمْ وَلَآ أَمَانِىِّ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ ۗ مَن يَعْمَلْ سُوٓءًۭا يُجْزَ بِهِۦ وَلَا يَجِدْ لَهُۥ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيًّۭا وَلَا نَصِيرًۭا ﴾

“It may not accord with your wishful thinking - nor with the wishful thinking of the fol­lowers of earlier revelation - [that] he who does evil shall be requited for it, and shall find none to protect him from God, and none to bring him succour,”

(শেষ পরিণতি) তোমাদের আশার উপর, আর না ঐশীগ্রন্থধারীদের মনস্কামনার উপর নির্ভর করে। (বরং) যে মন্দ কাজ করবে, সে তার প্রতিফল পাবে এবং আল্লাহ ভিন্ন সে তার জন্য কোন অভিভাবক ও সাহায্যকারী পাবে না।
