﴿ تَرَى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ مُشْفِقِينَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا۟ وَهُوَ وَاقِعٌۢ بِهِمْ ۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فِى رَوْضَاتِ ٱلْجَنَّاتِ ۖ لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَضْلُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ ﴾

“[In that life to come,] thou wilt see the evil­doers full of fear at [the thought of] what they have earned: for [now] it is bound to fall back upon them. And in the flowering meadows of the gardens [of paradise thou wilt see] those who have attained to faith and done righteous deeds: all that they might desire shall they have with their Sustainer: [and] this, this is the great bounty –”

তুমি সীমালংঘনকারীদেরকে ওদের কৃতকমের জন্য ভীত-সন্ত্রস্ত দেখবে;[১] অথচ ওদের ওপর আপতিত হবে তা(র শাস্তি)।[২] যারা বিশ্বাস করে ও সৎকাজ করে, তারা জান্নাতের বাগানসমূহে প্রবেশ করবে, তারা যা কিছু চাইবে, তাদের প্রতিপালকের নিকট হতে তাই পাবে। এটিই তো মহা অনুগ্রহ। [১] অর্থাৎ, কিয়ামতের দিন। [২] ভয় করায় কোন লাভ হবে না। কেননা, নিজেদের কৃতকর্মের শাস্তি তো তাদেরকে ভোগ করতেই হবে।
