﴿ وَكَيْفَ يُحَكِّمُونَكَ وَعِندَهُمُ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةُ فِيهَا حُكْمُ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّوْنَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ ۚ وَمَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴾

“But how is it that they ask thee for judgment seeing that they have the Torah, containing God's injunctions - and thereafter turn away [from thy judgment]? Such as these, then, are no [true] believers.”

আর তারা তোমার উপর কিরূপে বিচার-ভার ন্যস্ত করছে, যখন তাদের নিকট রয়েছে তওরাত; যাতে আছে আল্লাহর আদেশ? এরপরও তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়। ওরা আসলে বিশ্বাসীই নয়।
