﴿ فَلَمَّا نَسُوا۟ مَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوَٰبَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فَرِحُوا۟ بِمَآ أُوتُوٓا۟ أَخَذْنَٰهُم بَغْتَةًۭ فَإِذَا هُم مُّبْلِسُونَ ﴾

“Then, when they had forgotten all that they had been told to take to heart, We threw open to them the gates of all [good] things until -even as they were rejoicing in what they had been granted - We suddenly took them to task: and lo! they were broken in spirit;”

তাদেরকে যে উপদেশ দেওয়া হয়েছিল, তারা যখন তা বিস্মৃত হল, তখন তাদের জন্য সমস্ত কিছুর দ্বার উন্মুক্ত করে দিলাম, অবশেষে তাদেরকে যা দেওয়া হল, যখন তারা তাতে মত্ত হল, তখন অকস্মাৎ তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করলাম। ফলে তখনই তারা নিরাশ হয়ে পড়ল।
