﴿ وَبَرًّۢا بِوَٰلِدَيْهِ وَلَمْ يَكُن جَبَّارًا عَصِيًّۭا ﴾

“and full of piety towards his parents; and never was he haughty or rebellious.”

and dutiful to his parents that is virtuous towards them. And he was not arrogant or rebellious disobedient to his Lord.
