﴿ بَلْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلسَّاعَةِ ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِمَن كَذَّبَ بِٱلسَّاعَةِ سَعِيرًا ﴾

“But nay! It is [the very coming of] the Last Hour to which they give the lie! However, for such as give the lie to [the announce­ment of] the Last Hour We have readied a blazing flame:”

Nay but they deny the coming of the Hour the Resurrection and We have prepared for those who deny the Hour a blaze sa‘īr a fire that has been set ablaze musa‘‘ara in other words an intense fire.
