﴿ إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ فَإِذَا هُمْ خَٰمِدُونَ ﴾

“nothing was [needed] but one single blast [of Our punishment] - and lo! they became as still and silent as ashes.”

It their punishment was but one Cry — Gabriel gave a cry to them — and lo! they were extinguished silent dead.
