﴿ فَأَغْوَيْنَٰكُمْ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَٰوِينَ ﴾

“So then, [if it be true that] we have caused you to err grievously - behold, we ourselves had been lost in grievous error!””

So we led you astray — the reason for which is given by their saying — indeed we ourselves were astray’.
