﴿ وَقَالُوا۟ مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالًۭا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَشْرَارِ ﴾

“And they will add: “How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we were wont to count among the wicked,”

And they the disbelievers of Mecca say while they are in the Fire ‘What is the matter with us that we do not see here men whom we used to count in the world among the wicked?
