﴿ هَٰذَا نَذِيرٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلنُّذُرِ ٱلْأُولَىٰٓ ﴾

“THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old:”

This Muhammad (s) is a warner in the tradition of the warners of old of their kind that is to say he is a messenger like messengers before him sent to you just as they were sent to their peoples.
