﴿ لَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ رَهْبَةًۭ فِى صُدُورِهِم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌۭ لَّا يَفْقَهُونَ ﴾

“Nay, [O believers,] you arouse in their bosoms a fear more intense than [even their fear of] God: this, because they are people who fail to grasp the truth.”

You indeed arouse greater awe fear in their hearts that is the hearts of the hypocrites than God — but only because He has deferred His chastisement to the Hereafter. That is because they are a people who do not comprehend.
