Al-Haaqqa • EN-AL-JALALAYN
﴿ كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ وَعَادٌۢ بِٱلْقَارِعَةِ ﴾
“THE LIE gave [the tribes of] Thamud and ‘Ad to [all tidings of] that sudden calamity!”
Thamūd and ‘Ād denied the Clatterer the Resurrection because its terrors cause the hearts to clatter.
