Al-Haaqqa • EN-AL-JALALAYN
﴿ فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهْلِكُوا۟ بِٱلطَّاغِيَةِ ﴾
“Now as for the Thamud - they were destroyed by a violent upheaval [of the earth];”
As for Thamūd they were destroyed by the overwhelming Roar an excessively severe cry.
