﴿ وَجَنَّٰتٍ أَلْفَافًا ﴾
“and gardens dense with follage.”
and gardens orchards of intertwining foliage? alfāf is the plural of lafīf similar in pattern to sharīf ‘noble’ plural ashrāf.
