🕋 تفسير الآية 135 من سورة سُورَةُ البَقَرَةِ

Al-Baqara • EN-KASHANI-TAFSIR

﴿ وَقَالُوا۟ كُونُوا۟ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَٰرَىٰ تَهْتَدُوا۟ ۗ قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ حَنِيفًۭا ۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ﴾

“AND THEY say, "Be Jews" - or, "Christians" - "and you shall be on the right path." Say: "Nay, but [ours is] the creed of Abraham, who turned away from all that is false, and was not of those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God."”

📝 التفسير:

And they say, 'Be Jews or Christians [and you shall be guided']: every person who is veiled by his religion claims that his religion and none other is the truth. Say, 'Nay, rather the creed of Abraham [a ḥanīf; and he was not of the idolaters'], for absolute guidance is the affirmation of God's Oneness which comprehends every religion and lifts every veil, as He says next in His statement:
