﴿ أَنِ ٱقْذِفِيهِ فِى ٱلتَّابُوتِ فَٱقْذِفِيهِ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ فَلْيُلْقِهِ ٱلْيَمُّ بِٱلسَّاحِلِ يَأْخُذْهُ عَدُوٌّۭ لِّى وَعَدُوٌّۭ لَّهُۥ ۚ وَأَلْقَيْتُ عَلَيْكَ مَحَبَّةًۭ مِّنِّى وَلِتُصْنَعَ عَلَىٰ عَيْنِىٓ ﴾

“Place him in a chest and throw it into the river, and thereupon the river will cast him ashore, [and] one who is an enemy unto Me and an enemy unto him will adopt him. "And [thus early] I spread Mine Own love over thee -and [this] in order that thou might be formed under Mine eye.”

�I cast upon you love from Me... He said:God made apparent his bequest of knowledge to him [Moses] before any works [were done]. He bequeathed for him love (maḥabba) in the hearts of His servants. Thus, thereare hearts that are rewarded before any action and punished before they have even considered[such an action] (qabl al-raʾy), just as a person may experience joy within his soul without knowing the reason for it, or experience sadness without knowing the reason for it.His words, Exalted is He:
