﴿ مَا كَذَبَ ٱلْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَىٰٓ ﴾

“The [servant’s] heart did not give the lie to what he saw:”

The heart did not deny what he saw.⸢That is to say, what he saw⸣ at the witnessing (mushāhada) of his Lord, through the vision (baṣar) of his heart as a face-to-face encounter (kifāḥ). His words, Exalted is He:
