Ar-Rahmaan • EN-TAFSIR-AL-TUSTARI
﴿ حُورٌۭ مَّقْصُورَٰتٌۭ فِى ٱلْخِيَامِ ﴾
“[There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] -”
Houris, secluded in pavilions.That is, kept in seclusion in pavilions. It was related from Muḥammad b. Sawwār, on the authorityof his chain of transmission, that Abū Mūsā al-Ashʿarī related that the Prophet said, �Verily the believer will have in Paradise a pavilion made of white pearl, thirty miles in length, in which there are many inhabitants but they do not see one another.� His words, Exalted is He:
