﴿ وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلْصَٰلٍۢ مِّنْ حَمَإٍۢ مَّسْنُونٍۢ ﴾

“AND, INDEED, We have created man out of sounding clay, out of dark-slime transmuted”

(Verily We created man) Adam (of potter's clay) of dry clay (of black mud altered) clay that stinks; it is also said that this means: shaped clay.
