﴿ فَأَرَادَ أَن يَسْتَفِزَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ جَمِيعًۭا ﴾

“And then Pharaoh resolved to wipe them off [the face of] the earth - whereupon We caused him and all who were with him to drown [in the sea].”

(And he wished to scare them from the land) the land of Jordan and Palestine, (but We drowned him) in the sea (and those with him, all together).
