﴿ إِنْ هِىَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا ٱلدُّنْيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحْيَا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَبْعُوثِينَ ﴾

“There is no life beyond our life in this world: we die and we live [but once], and we shall never be raised from the dead!”

(There is naught but our life of the world; we die and we live) the fathers die and their children live, (and we shall not be raised (again)) after we die.
