﴿ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّرِيَكَ مَا نَعِدُهُمْ لَقَٰدِرُونَ ﴾

“[Pray thus] for, behold, We are most cer­tainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them!”

(And verily We are Able to show thee) O Muhammad (that which We have promised them) of torment on the Day of Badr.
