﴿ ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَٰهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًۭا يَسِيرًۭا ﴾

“and then, [after having caused it to lengthen,] We draw it in towards Our­selves with a gradual drawing-in.”

(Then We withdraw it) i.e. the shade (unto Us, a gradual withdrawal) a slight-or as it is said: hidden-withdrawal?
