﴿ فَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ وَجَٰهِدْهُم بِهِۦ جِهَادًۭا كَبِيرًۭا ﴾

“hence, do not defer to [the likes and dislikes of] those who deny the truth, but strive hard against them, by means of this [divine writ], with utmost striving.”

(So obey not the disbelievers) Abu Jahl and his host regarding hat which they ask of you, (but strive against them herewith) by means of the Qur'an (with a great endeavour) by the sword.
