Ash-Shu'araa • EN-TAFSIR-IBN-ABBAS
﴿ وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوٓءٍۢ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍۢ ﴾
“and do her no harm, lest suffering befall you on an awesome day!””
(And touch her not with ill) do not hamstrung her (lest there come on you the retribution of an awful day.
