﴿ وَٱلشُّعَرَآءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ ٱلْغَاوُۥنَ ﴾

“And as for the poets [they, too, are prone to deceive themselves: and so, only] those who are lost in grievous error would follow them.”

(As for poets) 'Abdullah Ibn al-Zib'ari and his host who composed poetry, (the erring follow them) those who transmit poetry relate it from them.
