﴿ وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًۭا ۖ فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ ﴾

“the while We rained a rain [of destruction] upon the others: and dire is such rain upon all who let themselves be warned [to no avail]”

(And We rained a rain) stones (upon them) upon their sodomites and travellers. (Dreadful) evil (is the rain of those who have been warned) by Lot but did not believe in him.
