﴿ يَوْمَ تُقَلَّبُ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِى ٱلنَّارِ يَقُولُونَ يَٰلَيْتَنَآ أَطَعْنَا ٱللَّهَ وَأَطَعْنَا ٱلرَّسُولَا۠ ﴾

“On the Day when their faces shall be tossed about in the fire, they will exclaim, “Oh, would that we had paid heed unto God, and paid heed unto the Apostle!””

(On the day when their faces are turned over) are dragged (in the Fire, they say) both the leaders and the followers: (Oh, would that we had obeyed Allah) by accepting faith (and had obeyed His messenger) by accepting their message!
