As-Saaffaat • EN-TAFSIR-IBN-ABBAS
﴿ وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ ﴾
“and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage],”
(And saved them and their people) who believed in them (from the great distress) from drowning,
