﴿ أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ ﴾

“[that] after we have died and become mere dust and bones we shall, forsooth, be brought to judgment?”’”

(Can we, when we are dead and have become mere dust and) rotten (bones, can we (then) verily be brought to book) because he denied resurrection after death?
